BRUNS HOME ON THE RIDGE STALLION STATION

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SHIPPED SEMEN

2008 BREEDING SEASON

 

            BRUNS HOME ON THE RIDGE STALLION STATION agrees to ship semen on INVESTED SECURITY. In addition to AQHA rules and regulations regarding the shipment of semen, BRUNS HOME ON THE RIDGE STALLION STATION also imposes the following:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

            l. A completed stallion service contract with copy of both sides of the mare’s papers must be in file with the stallion station, the booking fee and stud fee must be paid in full prior to the first shipment of semen.

 

            2.  There is a  fee of $250.00 for the first shipment of semen, additional shipments are $200.00. There is also an additional one-time refundable container fee of $300.00 which will be returned to you after you advise the stallion station that your mare has been confirmed in foal.  The equitainer must be returned via Fed Ex to the Breeding Stallion station within 5 business days of receipt.  After three days a late fee of $50.00 per day will be deducted from your container deposit.

 

            3.  Stallion Station will pay the shipping charges for regular Federal Express (Fed-Ex) overnight delivery. Additional $25.00 charge for Saturday delivery.

 

         4. A request for a shipment of transported semen must be made by 3pm CT at least 24 hours prior to shipping time to insure your name is on the shipment list for the next day.  INVESTED SECURITY is collected Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  It will be the mare owner and his/her veterinarian’s responsibility to confirm our breeding/shipping days. Requests made after 8am CT on shipment day carry an additional $30.00 expediting fee.

 

            5.  Stallion Station agrees to ship Mare Owner semen that will be viable for a minimum of 36 hours after leaving Stallion Station’s possession. 

 

            6. Stallion station agrees to ship semen from Feb. 1^st to July 15^th, upon availability, unless stallion station agrees in writing to other arrangements and or dates.

 

            7.  Stallion Station will provide official AQHA forms with each shipment of semen.  It is the mare owner’s responsibility to mail documentation to AQHA following insemination or mare and signing by veterinarian or agent doing insemination.  A “Breeders Certificate” shall be issued by Stallion Owner to Mare Owner after all expenses to Stallion Station have been paid and at such time as they are made available by AQHA.  It is the Mare Owner’s responsibility to provide Stallion Station with a valid address to which the Breeder’s Certificate shall be mailed.

 

            8. This contract cannot be assigned or transferred unless agreed to in writing be Stallion Owner and Stallion Station.
